Limahl has recorded an interview for the popular Japan TV Show Best Hit SMA Station presented by Shingo & Tatsuya on the terrestrial channel TV Asahi which will be broadcast on 2nd Feb. In the interview, he reminisces fondly about the 80's and how Japan played a small small part in the evolution of 'The Neverending Story' hit song - it was during a trip to Tokyo that he met the writer and producer of the song Giorgio Moroder. Limahl has also revealed some other interesting news - which we hope to announce here soon !! |

29th May 2007 - San Remo (Italy) Limahl will perform 'The Neverending Story' on Italian TV for the national channel Rai Uno (equivalent to the UK's BBC) - 'live' broadcast of the programme is scheduled to begin at 9pm local time. |

Limahl will be interviewed by the hugely popular bachelor brothers from Ballydung in their third series - the first and second series were massive hits attracting audiences of up to 450,000 a night – with over 1 million tuning in on a weekly basis. 12th November 2006 - 21.45 to 22.45 Limahl recently filmed an interview in London for the award winning and highly rated Norway TV Show 'Gylne Tider' - (Golden Years) with presenter Øyvind Mund for national channel TV2 which will be be broadcast in the brand new second series. The programme consists of several face-to-face interviews with international stars, each between 6-10 minutes long. The third program with Limahl will also contain interviews with actor Bruce Boxleitner (Luke Macahan in 'How the west was won' series, which was extremely popular in Norway), actress Pamela Sue Martin (who played Fallon in the 'Dynasty' series), actress Aileen Quinn (she played 'Annie' in the movie 'Annie') and finally Peter Cetera - ex lead singer of the American group Chicago who sang their worldwide smash hit 'If you leave me now'. Sony/BMG will release a compilation CD with music from the series, which will include 'The Neverending Story'. 5th November 2006 VH1 (UK) will repeat their broadcast of 100 Greatest Songs Of The 80s on Sun 5th Nov at 09.00 (UK time) with Limahl co-presenting (see directly below). The programme will also be broadcast on the UK freeview channel TMF (The Music Factory) at some point in the near future. |

23rd September 2006 Limahl will co-present the new VH1 (UK) show 100 Greatest Songs Of The 80s. He will introduce the songs from position 100 - 75. Other presenters on the show are Bananarama, Clare Grogan (former lead singer of Altered Images) and Toyah Wilcox. First broadcast in the UK is tentatively scheduled for Saturday 23rd Sept at 13.00 (GMT). He has also been filmed for the American version of this show with VH1 America. Limahl was interviewed about 'Too Shy' and made comments about other songs/artists in their programme. The American version has a very different set of songs and is tentatively scheduled for broadcast in the USA on Oct 30th at 9pm (EST). VH1 (UK) may also broadcast this version later in the year.
